What's the difference between a Primary and Secondary account?

Short answer: nothing functional. The first Pathmonk account your company creates is automatically labeled Primary; any additional accounts created after it are labeled Secondary. The label is purely technical naming — it doesn't grant the Primary account any special status, and being Secondary comes with no limitations, restrictions, or effect on your setup or results. Both account types have identical features and full access to the platform.

When would I have more than one account?

Each Pathmonk account works on one website (one primary domain plus its allowed subdomains — see Adding / whitelisting subdomains). You'd create additional accounts when you need Pathmonk running on genuinely separate properties:

  • Multiple websites or brands — each site gets its own account, its own Company DNA, and its own analytics, so the AI learns each audience separately.
  • Different branches or regions — separate domains for separate markets each run independently.
  • Agencies managing client websites — technically each client site is its own account, but don't manage them as loose Secondary accounts: the Agency portal for marketing agencies & partners is built for exactly this and keeps all client accounts under one roof.

What stays separate, what's shared

Each account is self-contained: its own website, snippet, Company DNA, microexperiences, conversion goals, and analytics. Data is never mixed between accounts — which is the point: each website's AI learns only from its own visitors.

How to add another account
